IN LOVING MEMORY

Richard "Chad" Chadwick Henderson

Apr 03 1979 - Jan 05 2025

Richard “Chad” Chadwick Henderson, 45, of Prosper, Texas, passed away on January 5, 2025, in Frisco, Texas. Born on April 3, 1979, in Plano, Texas, to Melanie (Jasper) and Richard Henderson, Chad was a man of immense love, strength, and integrity.

On April 28, 2012, Chad married the love of his life, Beverly Nicole James, in Krum, Texas. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, and faith, raising their three beautiful children: Avery, Gracie, and Claire.

Chad was a devoted father who cherished creating special moments with each of his children. He shared his love of baseball and Brazilian jiu-jitsu with Avery, encouraging him to emulate his father’s dedication to family and strength of character. With Gracie, he enjoyed the simple joys of picking her up from dance practice, painting, and working together on suture kits—nurturing her creativity and curiosity. He delighted in reading bedtime stories to Claire, tucking her in with tenderness and care.

To his wife, Beverly, Chad was the epitome of chivalry, a man whose unwavering love and devotion set a shining example for their children. Whether on the golf course, at weekly family dinners at Anamia’s, or spending time with his close-knit circle of friends, Chad’s presence was magnetic, his laughter infectious, and his kindness boundless.

Chad’s life was defined by his hard work, his love for family, and his faith. Those who knew him are left with a profound sense of loss, especially his close friends, who will forever miss their “A player” on the links.

Chad is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Henderson of Prosper, Texas; his cherished children, Avery, Gracie, and Claire; his mother, Melanie and Roger Ridings of Scottsdale, Arizona; and his siblings: Megan Stone and her husband Michael of San Diego, California; Adam Henderson and his wife Raquel of Princeton, Texas; Travis Henderson and his wife Amber of Krum, Texas; Ryan Henderson and his wife Amy of Houston, Texas; and Meredith Gann and her husband Jordan of Garland, Texas. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Henderson, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.

Family and friends are invited to honor Chad’s life at a visitation held at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Chad’s honor to [Charity/Organization].

Chad’s legacy of love, devotion, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
