Rhonda Lynne Farmer went home to be with her Lord and Heavenly Father on April 24, 2026, after a courageous and grace-filled battle with breast cancer.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Rhonda spent the last 26 years of her life in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives through her kindness and service.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lula Farmer, and her cherished sister-in-law, Tammie Farmer.
Rhonda leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service carried on by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Brianna and Travis Miller, and her adored grandchildren, Maverick and Eleanor. She is also survived by her loving father, William L. Farmer; her brothers, William E. Farmer, Terry Farmer, and Darrell Farmer; her sister-in-law, Sherri Farmer; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A faithful servant and witness to our Lord Jesus Christ, Rhonda dedicated her life to serving others. Her career reflected that calling, as she devoted 15 years of honorable service to supporting our men and women in uniform through her work with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service in Dallas, Texas. Her service was rooted in compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
Rhonda never met a stranger. She always made time for a friend, offered a listening ear, and showed kindness freely—even while enduring her own illness. She had a remarkable ability to put others at ease and make them feel seen, valued, and loved.
Her greatest source of pride and joy was her family. Every laugh, cuddle, and moment shared—especially with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren—meant the world to her. She often said, “Maverick is Mimi’s best friend,” a reflection of the deep and joyful bond they shared.
Rhonda also shared a special closeness with her father and brothers. In her signature humor, she often referred to herself as her father’s “favorite son,” a phrase that always brought laughter and warmth to those around her.
While Rhonda’s presence here on earth will be deeply missed, her family finds peace and comfort knowing she is whole and at rest in Heaven. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely, the faith she lived boldly, and the lives she touched so profoundly.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, TX, 75033.
