Regina (Gina) JoIda Fowler-Thomas of Garland, Texas took the elevator to heaven on April 8, 2025 at the age of 59. She was born to Isaiah Turner Jr. and Mildred Fowler on August 16, 1965 in McKinney, Texas.
Gina attended McKinney High School class of “84” and later received her associate’s degree from Everest College.
Gina met the love of her life, Stefan Thomas and they were married March 12, 2022. She was outgoing, tough, and lived life with passion and joy. She found happiness in traveling, shopping, and cooking, always eager to share a meal with loved ones and friends. She had an unshakable faith in Jesus that guided her life. She was a faithful member of The Well Church.
She leaves her husband, Stefan Thomas of Garland, Texas; children, Jeremy (Jamie) Roberts of Garland, Texas and Kandi Fowler of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Ida Fowler-Hills (Warren Hills Sr.) of Forney, Texas, Tina Young of Caddo Mills, Texas, Nikki Jordan (Benny Jordan) of Crowley, Texas, Catina Bullock (Jeff Bullock) of Stem, North Carolina and Tawana Shaw, of Plano, Texas; brothers, Keith Fowler of Spokane, Washington, Clifton Taylor of Dallas, Texas, and Mark Dailey of Plano, Texas; best friends Ruth Greer and Rosa Maxie; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to cherish her memory.
Gina was proceeded in death by her parents Mildred Fowler and Isaiah Turner Jr.; grandparents Clance & Vedora Fowler, Isaiah Turner Sr., and Odessa Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Plano, 920 14th Street, Plano, Texas 75074. You can watch the service via livestream at: Smbcplano.org
Following the funeral, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas,75013 for a committal service.
The family will receive guests during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
