Regina Elise McPherson, a luminous soul who graced this world for 54 years, departed from our midst on the sacred day of December 25, 2023, in the embrace of Aubrey, Texas. Born on midsummer’s eve June 20, 1969, in the bustling heart of New York City, Regina was a beacon of light, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend.

Her essence, effervescent and enchanting, had the power to uplift the spirits of all who crossed her path. With an innate ability to ignite joy within others, Regina possessed a profound love for children. Her Sundays were devoted to the noble cause of youth ministry at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, where her nurturing spirit flourished. Additionally, she selflessly volunteered at FBCHP of Richardson Texas, and her discerning eye graced the world of teen beauty pageants as a compassionate judge.

Regina's radiant presence was cherished by her beloved parents, Sammie and Carrie McPherson of Anna, Texas. Her sister, Janet McPherson of Aubrey, Texas, stood by her side as a steadfast companion. Among the tapestry of her life, uncles James W. Bradley and Dennis L. McPherson, and aunts Betty L. Gee (McPherson) and Barbara A. Bradley (McPherson) wove threads of love and support. A constellation of great cousins illuminated her world, while special friends Adena Evans, Adrienne Burgess, Celia Reece, cousin Quindolyn Bradley, Tonya Otusi, Godmother to Ryan Otusi and support her parents' Godchildren Elton C. Harper, Christine Peters (Tyne), Nicole Peters, Brittany M. Brown, Zophia M. Brown, Tyler C. Smith, and Little Brother Jason McMillan adorned her journey.

Regina's spirit was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Tilley Bradley, Richard and Maxine McPherson, who now reside in the celestial realms. Alongside them, uncles Fred Bradley and Richard McPherson Jr., and aunts Marie Oliver (Bradley) and Rutha Mae Pollard (McPherson) guide her path.

In the realm of education, Regina attended St. Catherine of Sienna, where her young mind flourished. Plano East High School provided a nurturing environment for her growth, and her thirst for higher learning led her to the hallowed halls of TWU at Denton, Texas. Throughout her academic journey, Regina's thirst for knowledge was a testament to her insatiable curiosity and thirst for wisdom.

Within the realm of vocation, Regina's professional path was an exquisite tapestry of creativity and dedication. Her journey began with esteemed establishments such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and JCPenney, where her innate sense of style and elegance shone brightly. Eventually finding her home in Wacoal America, she spent two decades as a personal consultant, her passion for making you have the perfect radiated through her every endeavor.

Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church became the sanctuary of Regina's heart, a haven where her spirit found solace and her faith blossomed. Within the embrace of this sacred space, she found spiritual nourishment and a community of kindred souls.

Regina's pursuits extended beyond the realms of work and faith. Her leisurely hours were filled with joyous endeavors, including working with children, delving into the intricate tapestry of her family ancestry, engrossing herself in the literary world through her book club, and embarking on adventures near and far. Her refined taste led her to the realms of shopping and fine dining, where she indulged her senses and reveled in life's exquisite pleasures.

To honor the life and legacy of Regina Elise McPherson, a solemn funeral service will be held on the sixth day of January in the year 2024, at the hallowed halls of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The sacred ceremony will commence at the hour of 2:00 p.m., as cherished memories and heartfelt tributes are woven into a tapestry of remembrance. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held on the eve of the ceremony, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering an opportunity for loved ones to pay their respects.
