Reggie Harris, age 65, of Royse City, Texas, passed away September 30, 2009, in Grapevine, Texas. Reggie was born in Durant, Oklahoma, on December 23, 1943, in Durant, Oklahoma to Harold O. and Dorothy Leona (Harper) Harris. He was a forklift operator in the food industry and a member of the Baptist faith. Reggie proudly served in the United States Army. He is survived by his son, Jason Harris of Keller,Texas; grandchildren, Ayden Harris and Tylor Harris; brothers, Tommy Harris of Mineola, Texas, Billy Harris of Princeton, Texas, Mike Harris of Alba, Texas, and Johnny Harris also of Mineola. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry Harris, and sisters, Gail Giddens and Judy Eubank. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2009, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas, with Rev. Eric Philpot officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2009, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
