Rebecca Ruth Carr of Princeton, Texas passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 75. She was born on August 1, 1947 to Marvin King and Ruby Lee (Johnson) Roberts in McKinney, Texas. Rebecca married A.J. "Casey" Carr on February 11, 1967 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a cafeteria worker for McKinney Independent School District/Aramark for over 35 years. Rebecca was a member of The First United Methodist Church Princeton.
Rebecca is survived by her children, Rhonda Morse and son-in-law, James McWhirter of Princeton, Texas, and Julie Carr of North Hollywood, California; grandchildren, Casey Carr and fiancé, Kayleigh of McKinney, Texas, Noelle Morse of Princeton, Texas, and great grandson Stephen of Mckinney, Texas; niece, Regina Pope of Red Oak, Texas; nephew, Tracy Neil Roberts of Lancaster, Texas; great niece, Brittany Pope of Red Oak, Texas; and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. "Casey" Carr; parents; and brother, Marvin Ray Roberts.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening, February 10, 2023 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023 also at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in North, Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
