Rebecca Lynn Mitchell, age 72, of Little Elm, Texas, went home to be with Jesus on August 28, 2024. She was born on Valentine’s Day in 1952 to Barbara Lou (Vaughan) and Pastor Karl Benjamin Hall in Enid, Oklahoma. On June 26, 1971, Rebecca married Robert Weaver Mitchell in Paris, Texas, at Paris Bible Church.

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert, of Little Elm, Texas; her beloved children: Cindy Pappas and her husband, Todd, of Lewisville, Texas; Christy Smith and her husband, David, of Frisco, Texas; and Cheryl Chupe and her husband, Travis, of Frisco, Texas; her seven grandchildren: Makenna, Sierra, and Garrett Pappas; Graham and Emmerson Smith; and Isaac and Faith Chupe. She is also survived by her siblings: Phil Hall, Dale Hall, Karla Riley, and David Hall, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Karl Hall, and her younger brother, Steve Hall, all of whom we know welcomed her home.

A memorial service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 8520 E. Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM.
