Rebecca "Becky" Dawn Driesslein of Anna, Texas, passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 80. Becky was born on October 28, 1942, to Arthur Grady Adams and Madge Wetonia (Daniel) Adams in Rome, Georgia.
On January 29, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas, Becky married the late Homer Pomeroy Driesslein, with whom she shared countless precious moments and built a beautiful life together. As a devoted homemaker, Becky nurtured and cared for her family, creating a warm and loving environment for her loved ones. Becky had a passion for music and loved listening to quartets. She also played a role in her Church choir, making the services special and touching the hearts of everyone who heard them.
In her free time, Becky enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader. She loved playing games and bowling with family and friends. However, what brought Becky the most happiness was the time spent with her loved ones. Whether it was gathering around the dinner table, sharing stories and laughter, or embarking on adventures together, Becky cherished each moment spent in the company of her family and friends.
Becky's genuine warmth and loving nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued, and her kindness left an indelible mark on those she encountered. Her cheerful smile and gentle spirit brightened even the darkest of days, and her presence will be deeply missed. Becky leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering devotion for her children, her grandchild, her siblings, and extended family members, who will forever cherish the memories they made together.
Becky is survived by her sons, Gary Driesslein and wife, Jill and Phillip Driesslein and wife, Mandy, all of Garland, Texas; stepsons, Homer “Rocky” Driesslein, Jr. and Kenneth Drieslein; grandchild, Matthew Campbell; brother, Rodger Adams of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Debbie Adams, also of San Antonio, Texas; brother-in-law, Wes Wall; and numerous other loving family members and cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Driesslein; parents, Arthur and Madge Adams; sisters, Sunny Turner, Paula Wall, and Donna Adams.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
