IN LOVING MEMORY

Raymond Anthony Malinovsky

Feb 27 1947 - Oct 10 2026

Raymond Malinovsky lived a life of service, commitment, and love for his country and family. As an Air Force pilot and engineer, Ray proudly served his country for more than 25 years, dedicating his career to the mission and the people who served alongside him.

During his military career, Ray flew in Vietnam and piloted the KC-135 Stratotanker, refueling aircraft in flight and helping support critical Air Force operations. His service required sacrifice and frequent moves, as he and his beloved wife, Gloria, raised their two children, Matthew and Michael.  Due to the needs of the military servicemembers must relocate every two to three years to follow their military assignments. Through the many changes and challenges of military life, Ray remained devoted to his family and his country.

Even after retiring from active military service, Ray's desire to continue supporting the men and women of the military never faded. He established his own business, evaluating hazardous waste sites at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, and helping identify businesses qualified to address these environmental challenges through contracts. In this next chapter of his career, Ray continued the work he valued most: serving those who served their country.

As Ray approached retirement, he and Gloria returned to Texas, where family and longtime friends awaited them. Texas held a special place in their hearts, as it was in Big Spring, Texas, that Ray and Gloria first met. Returning to the place where their story began brought their lives full circle, allowing them to reconnect with loved ones and enjoy the familiarity of old friendships.

Above all, Ray's legacy is one of dedication, perseverance, and love. He devoted decades of his life to serving his country, continued that commitment long after his military career ended, and built a family through years of change and shared experiences.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Malinovsky, and his son, Matthew Malinovsky. Posthumously, his son Michael Malinovsky, his brother Larry Malinovsky and his parents William and Katherine Malinovsky.  He will be remembered for his service, his steadfast dedication, and the life he built with those he loved.

His years of service to his country and his devotion to his family will remain an enduring part of his legacy. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A Rosary Service will be held Friday, October 23, 2026, at 10:30 AM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11 AM at St Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 3990 W University Dr, Prosper, TX, 75078.
