Harold Keith

Raymond Harold Keith of Plano, Texas formerly of Dallas, Texas passed away April 20, 2022 at the age of 86.  He was born on November 1, 1935 to W.S. Keith and Mary Katherine (Austin) Keith.  Raymond met the “love of his life” in 4th grade, the late Patsy Lou (Hughes) Keith and they married in 1954. They moved to Oak Cliff, then to Garland and finally settled in Plano in 1960.  Harold and Patsy enjoyed 64 years of marriage before her passing in 2018.  He joined the Marine Corps Reserve in 1954 and served his country proudly until 1984 where he retired as a Master Sergeant.  Harold also worked for Wilson Engraving for over 40 years before retirement.  He and Patsy were both long-time members of the Plano and Richardson Church of Christ.  Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

Harold is survived by his children, Stan Keith and wife, Cindi of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Lisa Sunderland and husband, Mark of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Stephen Sunderland of Lone Tree, Colorado, Stacia Shimanek and husband, Travis of Whitefish, Montana, Scott Keith and wife, Summer of Coppell, Texas, Brandon Keith and wife, Mallory of Lantana, Texas and Amanda Bonds and husband, John of Carrollton, Texas; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, D.P. Keith, Dennis Keith, Gerald Keith, and Lewis Keith; sister, Mary Ann Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Keith; parents, W.S. and Mary Keith; granddaughter, Marissa Sunderland; and sister, Janice Tate.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Harold’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/harold-keith.  After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.  Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.

The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Tuesday morning at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to the service.
