Raymond E. Cotnoir, formerly of Allen, Texas, passed away March 12, 2024 in Rowlett, Texas at the age of 89. He was born October 12, 1934 in Lowell, Vermont to Pierre Antoine Cotnoir and Rose Elda Girouard. Raymond married the love of his life Sybil Ann Fain on September 13, 1957 in Dallas, Texas.
He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas for many years. Raymond was also a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus member.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Renee Capehart and husband, John of Rowlett, Texas; daughter, Charon Dean and husband, Patrick of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Julie Simmons and husband, James of Plano, Texas; daughter, Leigh Cotnoir and wife, Char Roberts of La Mesa, California; grandchildren, Andy Capehart of Caddo Mills, Texas, Zach Capehart of Lubbock, Texas, Ashby Dean of Plano, Texas, James Dean of Lubbock, Texas, Sydney Roberts of La Mesa, California, and Shannon Roberts of Lemon Grove, California; great grandchildren, Savannah Capehart of Caddo Mills, Texas, Dalton Capehart of Caddo Mills, Texas, Tanner Hickman of Rockwall, Texas, Baylee Capehart of Lubbock, Texas, Hunter Capehart of Lubbock, Texas, Sybil Capehart of Lubbock, Texas, and Zen Ray Bucur of Lemon Grove, California; sister-in-law, Yvonne Spence of Rowlett, Texas; brother-in-law, Thomas Fain and wife, Karen of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Ann Cotnoir.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 19, 2024 at St. Jude Catholic Church 1515 North Greenville Avenue, Allen, Texas 75002. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2024 during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being held at 6:30 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
