Mr. Ray Jacobs, age 49, of Wylie, Texas passed away April 24, 2005, at his home in St. Paul. He was born on August 27, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harry and Dorothy (Sandifer) Jacobs. On February 22, 1974, he married Janis Herren in Tulsa. Ray was the Chief Building Inspector for the City of Fairview, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Janis of Wylie; sons, Josh and wife, Stephanie and Joey and fiancée Amanda ”Manders” all of St. Paul, Texas; first grandson, Gage Andrew Ray Jacobs; parents, Harry and Dorothy of Tulsa; brother, Sonny and wife, Ginni also of Tulsa; nieces, Stephanie, Stacey and Kristin; sisters, Judy Jacobs and Karen Jacobs Tandy and husband, Rant, and his son, Al; niece, Julia; sister-in-law, Terri Harden and husband, Jimmy of Tulsa, OK; niece, Kristi Hall and husband, Doug of Lewisville, TX; nephew, Ty Harden and wife, Amanda of Tulsa; great-niece and nephew, Jentry and Jared; father-in-law, Buddy Brown of Collinsville, OK; and extended family, the Dickweed Motorcyle Club. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Laine Brown and grandmother, Nanie Sandifer. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
