Raul C. Cantu

October 9, 1936 - February 18, 2018

Raul C. Cantu, age 81, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on February 18, 2018, in Plano, Texas.  He was born on October 9, 1936, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico, to Carolina (Carrenas) and Jesus Cantu.  In 1963, Raul met beautiful Anna Rincon and got married in Haskell, Texas.  Raul moved his family to Frisco in 1968 and has lived here ever since, Raul provided for his family as Lead Foreman for an industrial company in Frisco, TX. 

Raul is survived by his eleven children, Raul Cantu Jr., Marisol Cantu, Leticia Zurita Salinas, Anna Penney, Melissa Trevino, Roland Cantu, Ruben Cantu, Juany Escobedo, Bertha Reyna, Elvia Posada and Irma Villarreal; twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; sister, Veronica Cantu, brothers, Roberto Cantu, Tomas Cantu, Armando Cantu, Santos Cantu, Lazaro Cantu, and Ramiro Segura.

Raul was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Cantu; son, Guillermo Cantu; granddaughter, Anacristina Cantu; grandsons, Diego Cantu and Dustin C. Hardwick; sisters, Norma Cantu and Odilia Cantu.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas, on Thursday, February 22, 2018, beginning at 11:00 AM with Father Paul Iverson presiding.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco.
