Randy Dean Combest passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on August 9, 1951, in Sherman, Texas, to Harold and Ruby Combest. He was a 1969 graduate of McKinney High School.
He went on to work as an automotive technician for many years before retiring. His family will remember his love for music, especially country and classic rock and roll. Randy enjoyed playing the bass and guitar.
Randy is survived by his two sons, Chris Combest of McKinney and Matthew Combest of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Christian, Presley, and Kaiden Combest of McKinney, Texas; and his sister, Ann Mauldin and her husband, Haskell, of Red Oak, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruby Combest, and his wife, Leah Combest.
