IN LOVING MEMORY

Randi Vaughan

Dec 29 1952 - Mar 11 2026

Born in Dallas, Texas on December 29,1952, Randi was the second of three daughters born to Jack and Pat Revill.

She graduated from Samuel High School in Dallas in 1971. After graduation, she went on to work for Henry Wade in the Dallas District Attorney’s Office. She was highly regarded and had many different responsibilities over her years there. Eventually, she transitioned to a career in the retail supermarket business, heading fraud prevention and return check departments for both Minyard Food Stores and Tom Thumb Supermarkets. After a successful career, she retired at age 62.

Randi loved to spend time with her many friends, some of whom she knew and loved since elementary school. Randi had one son, Jack, who was the center of her universe. Their bond was unmatched and unbreakable. Coming in a close second was her loving husband, Alan. Happily married for 35 years, Alan adored Randi and called her “brown eyes” for obvious reasons. What beautiful eyes!!  And do not forget her loving dog Bogey. She called Alan and Bogey her “pack”. She loved dogs and often kept dogs for vacationing family at Camp Randi. No, she never checked with Alan for an okay.

In addition to her husband Alan, Randi is survived by her son Jack and wife Micaela of Austin; stepson Gabriel Vaughan, and wife Cara of Frisco, and grandchildren Caylee, Madison, Charlie, and Gillian; stepson Cody, and wife Ally of Burbank, CA, and granddaughter Mercy Rey; sister Rhonda Rose and husband Steve of Dallas; sister Donna Schwark and husband Alan of Crandall; nephews Cody Schwark, Stephen Schwark and wife Katie, and John Rose and wife Elizabeth; brothers-in law Dan Vaughan and wife Jan, and Steven Vaughan; and numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Randi’s memory to Operation Kindness of Carrollton at www.operationkindness.org where her beloved Bogey was adopted from.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 23, at 4:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
