Rande Reynolds passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 30th, 2023, after a long, difficult illness. He was at Traditions assisted living and memory care in Sherman, Texas. Rande was born on August 5th, 1957, in Dallas County Texas. His parents were Preston Talmadge Reynolds and Fay Milton Reynolds. Rande was a member of Western Heights Church of Christ. He worked at Fisher Controls in Sherman Texas in customer service for several years until his illness. He graduated from Parkway West Senior High School in St. Louis Missouri then Harding University in Searcy Arkansas in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
To know Rande was to love him. He was a gentle, kindhearted, loving soul and a faithful Christian man. He was intelligent and fun to be with. Rande loved spending time with his friends and had many interest. He was devoted to his family and was a beloved “UNC” to his niece and nephew and their families. He continued to care for his elderly parents even after his diagnosis, always thinking of others before himself.
He is survived by his sister Sharon Reynolds Edwards and her husband Frank of Sherman, Texas, nephew Kyle Preston Lake and Wife Tiffany and their children Ava, Presley, Elle, and Brock and niece Ashley Fay Young and husband Todd and their children Lane, Luke, and Lyla of Sherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents Preston Talmadge and Fay Milton Reynolds, and his brother Stephen Preston Reynolds.
A service for Rande will be held at 2PM, Wednesday January 10, 2024, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, 701 North Cedar Street, Leonard, Texas 75452. Family will welcome guests to a visitation from 1-2PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Following the services, there will be a burial at Leonard Cemetery.
