IN LOVING MEMORY

Randall Odell Wilder

Feb 25 1957 - Sep 29 2026

Randall Wilder, a lifelong resident of the McKinney community, passed away on September 29, 2026 at the age of 69. Known for his deep devotion to his family, his steady civic service, and his enduring spirit of friendship, Randall left a lasting imprint on all who knew him.

A proud member of the McKinney High School Class of 1975, Randall cherished his lifelong connections with his schoolmates. He rarely, if ever, missed a class reunion or an opportunity to reminisce and reconnect with former classmates, maintaining those cherished bonds throughout his entire life.

Randall’s professional life was defined by dedication, hard work, and an ability to evolve with the times. He began his career working alongside J.D. Ellis at Towne North Electronics. Upon Mr. Ellis’s retirement, Randall took ownership of the business, successfully guiding it through decades of technological change—adapting from traditional television repair to modern computer technology and IT solutions. He took tremendous pride in helping friends and neighbors solve their technical problems. If a computer was beyond repair, Randall always made sure his customers were taken care of with a great deal on a reliable replacement. To Randall, his work was never just about electronics; it was about serving people with honesty and care.

Randall also had a lifelong love for aviation. He learned to fly in the eighties, obtained his private pilot license and later added Instrument Rating to his credentials. He enjoyed talking airplanes and never missed an opportunity to visit with other pilots.

His faith and service were central to his life. As a devoted member of Community North Baptist Church, Randall faithfully served on numerous committees over the years. His commitment to his hometown extended into local government as well; driven by a civic-minded spirit, he ran for McKinney City Council and served his community on municipal advisory bodies, including the Board of Adjustments.

Above all, Randall was a devoted son and a loving brother whose devotion to his family and friends was unwavering. His warm presence, readiness to lend a helping hand, and commitment to his hometown will be deeply missed by his church community, friends and the many customers and neighbors he served so faithfully.

Randall was preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Maxine Wilder and by his younger brother, Stanley Wilder.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2026 at Restland Memorial Park, 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243. Dr. Bruce Austin and Rev. Kevin Roe will be officiating.

Friends and members of the community are invited to gather and pay their respects during a visitation from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
