IN LOVING MEMORY

Ralph Miles Foster

Jul 02 1956 - Oct 08 2025

Ralph Miles Foster of McKinney, Texas, passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born on July 2, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, to Ralph Foster Flemm and Grace Ruth (Perez) Flemm.

Ralph grew up in Akron and graduated from Copley High School. Upon graduation Ralph joined a band called the Chicago Gangsters and began touring at venues throughout the US.  After a few years touring and cutting one album, his mother kindly reminded him that it was time for college.  He was accepted at Berklee College of Music in Boston where he played trumpet and earned a Bachelor’s degree.  After years of working for staging and production companies, traveling all over the US and abroad, Ralph decided to open his own staging company called Xtrada, Inc.  Ralph was both the owner and operator and continued to work corporate shows and events – designing stages, working lighting audio, and calling shows. While it was tough being away from family, he made a road family who he always spoke of highly and shared many a funny story at these events.

Ralph enjoyed music, especially playing the trumpet, piano, and guitar.  He loved to cook, and had a fondness for convertible cars and sports cars, especially Triumphs. He enjoyed driving down the back roads of Lucas, shifting gears, and listening to jazz music.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Amy Foster of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Cassidy Foster of McKinney, Texas, step-son, Jonathan Rozanski and wife, Jenelle of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Emerald and Anakin Rozanski; siblings, Carol Seiberling and husband, Dan of Stow, Ohio, Ruth Stefanik and husband, John of Copley, Ohio, Bill Foster of Akron, Ohio, MaryBeth Wott and husband, Tim of Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The service for Ralph will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, located at 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

The family will host a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.  Directly following will be a short service in the Chapel.  If you have a fun story you’d like to share about Ralph, the Pastor will open up the service for those who want to speak. You can watch the service via livestream at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/ralph-miles-foster.

Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
