Ralph Gallardo, a resident of Quinlan, Texas, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born on December 1, 1958, in Groesbeck, Texas, Ralph was the cherished son of Alejandro Gallardo and Adela Reyes Gallardo. He grew up as part of a large and loving family.
In 2010, Ralph experienced the loss of his first wife, Olga Olvera Gallardo. Above all, Ralph cherished his role as a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. His family was his anchor, the guiding light that illuminated his life's journey.
Ralph dedicated over 45 years of his life to Texas Instruments in Plano, Texas. He was a devoted member of the Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer Church in Garland, Texas. His faith was a guiding force in his life, providing him with strength, comfort, and a sense of purpose. Ralph will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to be touched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
He is survived by his wife, Silvia Gallardo of Quinlan, Texas; son, Ralph Gallardo, Jr, and wife, Angelica of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Irene Gallardo Diaz and husband, Roger of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Gallardo and wife, Emally of Farmersville, Texas, Savanna Diaz of Anna, Texas, Dominic Gallardo, Dylan Gallardo, Adrianna Gallardo, and Logan Gallardo, all of San Antonio, Texas; great-grandson, Aaron Gallardo, Jr; stepchildren, Jethson Reyes of Quinlan, Arnold J. Reyes of Houston, Texas, and Aida Patricia Reyes, also of Houston, Texas; sisters, Connie Gallardo of McKinney, Texas, Minnie Garcia of Lubbock, Texas, Diana Gallardo and Norma Gallardo, both of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Alex Gallardo of McKinney, Texas, Jacob Gallardo of Olney, Texas, and Rudy Gallardo, also of McKinney, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his first wife, Olga Gallardo; parents, Alejandro and Adela Gallardo; brothers, John Gallardo and Danny Gallardo; and sisters, Mary Cardona and Sarah Gallardo.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
