IN LOVING MEMORY

Ragenal "Reggie" Alex Draughn

Ragenal Alex Draughn was born November 10, 1972 in Dallas, Texas to the parents of Merkle Draughn and Doris Draughn. His father preceded him in death.

Ragenal attended Wilmer Hutchins High School and later attended Paris Junior College on a baseball scholarship. Ragenal accepted Christ at an early age at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas. He became a Deacon at St Paul Baptist Church in Paris, Texas where he served on the Deacon Board, Men’s Choir, Usher and Armor Bearer. He continued his work in the ministry as a Deacon at St. Mark Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas.

Reggie also loved working with the youth at his church and in the community coaching pee wee football and the semi-pro team East Texas Bombers. In his spare time, he would umpire baseball and softball and referee basketball, many times with his brother Merkle. Cori was never far behind as she was always with him celebrating every moment. His wife, Jackie later joined in on the fun and loved to travel with him to all the events.

Reggie was united in marriage to Jacquelyn Mitchell on September 3, 2016. He worked at Earth Grains in Paris, Texas for 21 years and was currently employed by Encore Wire in McKinney, Texas.
