Raejean Ann (Vaughn) Avenson, age 70, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. She was born on November 16, 1949, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Shirley (Smith) and Harold Vaughn. Raejean married the love of her life, Kenneth Dean Avenson, in Waterloo on September 21, 1968, and they were blessed with three daughters. She utilized her many skills as a homemaker, office assistant and sales representative. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Raejean is survived by her husband, Kenneth Avenson of Little Elm, Texas; her three daughters, Angela Hurwich and her husband, David, of Frisco, Texas, Julie Fuller and her husband, Travis, of Little Elm, Texas, and Laura Avenson of Frisco, Texas; her grandchildren, Aven Hurwich of Frisco; Liliana and Talia Gonzales, Xander and Talon Robles of Little Elm, and Logan Blair of Frisco; her sister, Rebecca Gates of Chesapeake, Virginia; her brothers, James Vaughn of Waterloo, Iowa, and Harold Vaughn Jr. also of Waterloo; her sisters-in-law, Bonita Wollin and her husband, Curt, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Rebecca Hicok of Marion, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Vaughn; her mother, Shirley Vaughn; her brother, Daniel Vaughn; her niece, Tammy Vaughn; and her brother-in-law, Ronald Hicok.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Monday, August 31, 2020 beginning at 10:30 AM with Pastor Melissa Hatch officiating.
