Radean (Lawson) Herron, age 70, of Prosper, Texas, passed away June 14, 2008 at her home. She was born September 10, 1937 in Altoga, Texas to Walter Lee and Lillie (Shindler) Lawson. On April 5, 1953 she married Jack Herron in McKinney, Texas. Radean was a Tax Assessor Collector for the Prosper Independent School District for 32 years and also served concurrently for the City of Prosper for 12 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prosper. She is survived by her husband, Jack Herron of Prosper; sons, Mark Herron and wife, Kim of Celina, David Herron and wife, Amy of Celina; sister, Jean Roebuck Garmon of McKinney; granddaughter, Haley Pennington and husband, Shad of Burleson; grandson, Heath Herron of Celina; granddaughter, Katie Herron of Celina; grandson, Matthew Herron of Celina; great-granddaughter, Abby Pennington and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Jerry Weems and Rev. Cliff Lester officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
