It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our daughter, Rachel Anna Stolz on February 22, 2020 at the age of 35 in The Colony, Texas. She was born on August 16, 1984 to Michael Jay Stolz and Wendy Lea (Hewitt) Andries in Casper, Wyoming. She will always be remembered as a beautiful, loving woman with the biggest heart and passion for helping others.
Rachel graduated from The University of Florida with a Master’s Degree in Education, specializing in Math and Science. She began her 12-year teaching career upon graduating and was able to impact the lives of so many students, along with everyone she worked with. Rachel absolutely loved her dogs and all animals, plants, cooking, and giving to others.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Wendy and James Andries of Allen, Texas; father and step-mother, Michael and Donna Stolz of Casper, Wyoming; brothers Jacob Stolz and Patrick Andries, and sister, Jamie Andries; step-brother and sister, Aspen Ewing and Matthew Schiltz; grandparents, Marge and Allan Stolz; boyfriend, Brian Widra; her dogs, River and Ruby; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Rachel was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Darlene Hewitt; and her brother, Alexander Michael Stolz.
Rachel provided everyone in her life with so much love and laughter. When you remember Rachel, please celebrate the good memories you have with her and consider helping someone in need in any way you can, just like she always would.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a remembrance gathering on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
