Priscilla Jo Anderson, beloved mother, cherished family member, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, in McKinney, Texas. She was born on August 1, 1943, in Madison, Indiana, to Irvin and Dorothy (Cardinal) Roberts.
She was preceded in her death by parents Irvin and Dorthy Roberts and sister Arleida Metz.
Priscilla will be remembered for her outgoing personality, warm spirit, and genuine enjoyment of people. She had a natural ability to make conversation and connect with others, and she enjoyed meeting new people and sharing stories. Her friendly and engaging nature brought many people into her life, and she treasured the relationships she formed along the way.
She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life and was always happiest when she was with family, the grand or great grandchildren, creating, exploring, or spending time in conversation with others. Sewing and Ceramics were two of her favorite hobbies, allowing her to express her creativity and make beautiful things with her hands. She also enjoyed cooking, especially desserts, and traveling, embracing opportunities to experience new places, food and make new memories.
One of Priscilla's most memorable passions was her love of cardinals. She especially enjoyed collecting cardinal-themed items, and over the years her collection became a reflection of something she held dear. The bright red cardinal was a familiar and meaningful part of her life and will be remembered by those who knew her.
Priscilla is survived by her three sons, Timothy J. Anderson of Gunter, TX, Thomas P. Anderson of Lubbock, TX, and Michael S. Anderson of Lansdale, PA, her sister Pamela Smith of Brownsburg, IN, 1 nephew, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Priscilla's life was marked by creativity, curiosity, conversation, and an openness to the people and experiences around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
