IN LOVING MEMORY

Princess Angel Achi

Jul 03 2002 - Jan 27 2023

Princess Angel Achi lived a brief but eventful life. Angel was born in Conegliano Italy on July 3rd 2002 .to Sophia Abubakar and Chief Wilson Achi of……..village, Manyu Divion, Cameroon. At the age of eight, the family moved to the USA and settled in Frisco, Texas. Angel wasted no time acquiring new friends and smoothly transitioned into her new environment. After attending Ashley Elementary and Roach Middle School, Angel graduated from Heritage High School and enrolled into Collin County College with a view to pursuing her childhood dream of becoming a dentist. Unfortunately, her plans were cut short by the cold hands of death on January 27, 2023.

Angel enjoyed living life to the fullest and genuinely connected to the people and the world around her. It’s cliché, but Angel was truly beautiful inside and out. You could feel her energy when she was near. Soft –spoken and always inquisitive, Angel doubled with a high sense of humor. She was a shining star that burned out too soon.

Angel truly had a gift to connect to people, understand them, make them feel special and like they mattered. She was bubbly, outgoing, vivacious, funny, and silly at times and just simply like no other. She wanted to try all things new and was not afraid.  Angel enjoyed life and was eager to taste all that it offered.

Angel had a wide taste in music and dressing.   She loved to dance and to take pictures and videos of friends and even herself. She made so many, many friends in her short life.

Angel has gone into the light and is now free. She leaves a huge emptiness in the hearts of all of us who loved her, many who were her friends, and even more who just had a glimmer of her through our family. We will forever miss her laugh, her funny little squeals, and the sparkle in her eyes.

Angel leaves behind her mum and dad Chief Achi and Mrs Sophia Abubakar. Her aunts and uncles, Jumeh and Azime Abubakar, Mohammed Abubakar and Athanasius Boma.  She also leaves behind her cousins, Tiara, Kelsey, Claire and Tyrese as well as a host of many other supporting friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 411 Paula Road, McKinney, Texas 75069. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North Allen, Texas 75013 for a committal service.

The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
