I was saddened to hear of Phyllis's passing. I know Eddie and the whole family will miss her greatly. I always enjoyed visiting with her at the Celina School reunions in the summer. May God bless the family and give all of you His peace. Yvonne Heistand, January 11, 2022 Oh Phyllis, my friend, I was in shock when I received the news, as I feel many were. I did suspect maybe illness when I didn’t get your yearly Christmas letter, but not this. We had many good times while growing up, and even now I look back on those if I feel a slump, and your sense of humor and honest wit lifts me right up. A letter from me, by now, is in your Paducah post office. Take care and see you again someday, but I hope not too soon.
Nelwyn Lande , January 11, 2022 I was saddened by the news of Phyllis's passing. I still picture her lighting the candles at church and I'm sure she is now lighting the candles in heaven. We will always miss her sweet smile. My thoughts are with all of her family as you grieve but also share wonderful memories and feel so blessed that you had her as long as you did and are comforted knowing where her journey ended. With love,
Mary Clark, January 11, 2022 Donna and Diana, I am deeply sorry for your loss. It is easy for me to imagine what a special person your mother must have been to have produced such an amazing family. I have been blessed and thankful to know you all these years. I watched the slide show from beginning to end and must say it is beautifully done and a wonderful tribute. Thank you for sharing those special memories. I am in Midland this week and unable to attend but please know that my thoughts and prayers are always with you and your family. May God bless each of you and bring comfort as you continue to celebrate her life. Rob Leaumont, January 11, 2022 Phyliss and I grew up making mud pies, riding horses down Honey Creek. I loved the time I spent out at her house. We grew up and I moved away but we kept in touch. I will miss seeing her twice a year. But we will meet again some day. Love you.
