Phillipe “Casey” Talley, age 46, went to be with the Lord on the morning of January 31 at Medical Center McKinney from natural causes. Casey was born in McKinney, Texas, June 26, 1973. He grew up in Farmersville, and Farmersville has been his home for the majority of his life. He graduated from Farmersville High School and worked many years as a framer and a carpenter. In 2003 he began his career at Denison Fire Department. He joined Plano Fire-Rescue in 2007 where he served as a firefighter and a paramedic until the time of his death.
Casey is survived by the following: his wife, Julie; his daughter, Emily; his son, Aaron; his mother, Dianne Schmidt, of Farmersville and her husband, Skip; his father, Phill Talley, of Farmersville and his wife, Alice Lynn; his sister, Kim Abbott, her husband, Bart, and their children, Kimbra and Blaze; and his brother, Kirk Talley, and his children, Lily and Luke.
Casey was and will always be dearly loved by all of his family and friends. To his friends and co-workers, he is known best as a loyal friend and confidant, a talented paramedic, and a faithful Oklahoma University fan. To his family, he is known best as a faithful servant of God, a seeker of truth, and a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. We will cherish Casey’s sense of humor and his tenacity for starting debates.
