Philip Samudio, Jr. of McKinney, Texas left this world on June 30, 2026, at the age of 43.
Philip was born on March 30, 1983, in San Antonio, Texas, to Philip Samudio, Sr. and Mary Gonzalez Samudio. From the very beginning, he brought his own unique spirit into the lives of those around him; a spirit that would be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and love for family.
For many years, Philip worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, where his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to help others earned him the respect of his coworkers. He took pride in providing for his family and approached life with determination and quiet strength.
More than anything, Philip will be remembered for the love he shared with the people closest to him. He was a devoted son, a loving father, a caring brother, and a treasured uncle whose presence could always be counted on. Whether through laughter, conversation, or simply being there when someone needed him, Philip had a way of making those around him feel valued and loved.
His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, but his memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. Though our hearts are broken, we celebrate the life he lived and the countless ways he touched the lives of family and friends. Philip will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
He is survived by his son, Aden Samudio of McKinney, Texas; parents, Philip Sr. and Mary Samudio, also of McKinney; sister, Valerie Samudio and husband, Agustin Dominguez of McKinney; nephew, Erik Dominguez; niece, Alexa Dominguez; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Philip was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Samudio.
"Those we love never truly leave us.
They live on in the kindness they shared,
the memories they created, and the love
that continues to surround us every day."
