Peter Gilbert of McKinney, Texas passed away February 21, 2020 at the age of 73. He was born on December 10, 1946 to Edward Gilbert and Penelope (Ness) Gilbert in Adelaide, Australia. On April 10, 1968, Peter earned his class II honours degree in Chemical Engineering from Sydney University in Sydney, Australia. He married Nancy M. Gilbert on August 18, 1973 in Sydney.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Nancy Gilbert of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Jennifer C. Gilbert of Dallas, Texas; son, Adam C. Gilbert of Carrollton, Texas; sister, Judi Agnew and husband, James of Norwich, England; nieces, Catherine Sampson and Louise Spink; numerous other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Penelope Gilbert.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
