Pete Delich, 71, passed away on February 4, 2019, in Plano, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Pete was born to Peter D. and Anne “Ponovich” Delich on March 16, 1947, in Gary, Indiana. Pete married Penny Jean Thompson on July 31, 1971, in Hobart, Indiana. He was an entrepreneur who worked in the automotive industry where he ran several automotive service and parts businesses in partnership with his brothers in Amarillo, Texas.
Pete is survived by his wife of 47 years, Penny Delich of Frisco, Texas; sons, Peter Delich Jr and wife, Sara of Frisco, and Ray Delich and wife, Laurie of Frisco; grandchildren, Hayley Delich, Alexander Delich, Grant Delich, and Grayson Delich; brothers Dan Delich and wife, Carol of Tucson, Arizona, Dave Delich and wife, Karen of Tucson, Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews and more.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents Peter and Anne Delich.
Memorial Services for Pete Delich will be February 9, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, 3521 Main St., Frisco, Texas 75034. Presiding will be Pastor Billy Echols-Richter and Pastor Laura Echols- Richter.
