Perry Alan Kolarek

February 29, 1972 - April 21, 2022

Perry Alan Kolarek, age 50, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away April 21, 2022.  Perry was born February 29, 1972, in Los Angeles, California, to Barbara (Hitt) Kolarek-Brandt.  He was a man of many talents – and there was nothing he couldn’t turn his hand to!  He was a self-described tinkerer and just loved to roll up his sleeves and dig in – especially restoring his 1966 Dodge Coronet.  He loved to do anything outdoors – camping, boating, jet skiing, mountain biking and riding his Harley.  He was the fastest man alive, ‘The Flash’ as he would say.  He never sat still and could be found doing any one of his favorite activities on any given day.

Perry loved his family and friends and always found time to make that call or stop in for a visit.  If you needed it, he would give you the shirt off his back.  He was genuine, loyal and generous with his time.  For him, it was all about the little things, the memories.  He adored his two children, Hallee and Cameron.  He was so proud of everything they had accomplished.  He loved telling stories about his ‘Popsicle’ and ‘Camshaft’ being on the lake and their first snow. He loved dogs, especially Ares, Sophie, Lexie, Maximus, and Takota.

He is survived by his daughter, Hallee Anne Kolarek; son, Cameron James Kolarek; mother, Barbara Kolarek-Brandt; father, Steve Brandt & his fianceé, Regina Van Burkleo & her daughter, Isabella; sisters, Tara Kolarek and her spouse, Esther Rodriguez, and Dardi Goldberg and her spouse, Dan; brothers, Andrew Kolarek and his spouse, Denise, and twin brother, Kelly Kolarek and his spouse, Angela; nephews, Tyler Stewart, Kyle Stewart, Zachary Kolarek, and Mason Kolarek; nieces, Zoe Stewart, Emily Romero (Ruben), Kayla Goldberg, and Shelby Hernandez (Nelson); grand-niece, Historia Romero; grand-nephew, Jesse Hernandez; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75033. The service will be livestreamed at the following link; https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/perry-alan-kolarek. The recorded version will be available for viewing at the same link after the service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Toys for Tots since Perry loved to participate in the annual Harley ride. https://aubrey-tx.toysfortots.org/local-coordinator-sites/lco-sites/default.aspx?nPageID=100&nPreviewInd=200&nRedirectInd=3

I was so happy when I moved to Texas to find someone from High school that lived here too. We had dinners together, loved the BBQ's at Perry's house. He taught me how to cook chicken on the grill perfectly. He had a heart of gold, always there for me and for my brother. He had my back whenever I needed help. Perry you will be truly missed and loved. You had become so Happy again with life. You were taken too soon. Until we meet again one day!!!
Tricia Lewis , May 17, 2022 I love you and I'm going to miss you so much! Alissa cyr, May 17, 2022 I very much appreciated Perry's energy and upbeat personality working with him. He was always willing to do more than asked and with a smile. He was the first employee I ever worked with who wanted a Hotdog machine instead of an increase in pay. Very glad to have known him for the short time we worked together. To each their own way, may he rest in heavenly peace.
Rob Manzer, May 3, 2022 I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers for you and your family.
Margaret Rodriguez, April 30, 2022 Perry was our neighbor for almost 20 years and we have absolutely adored and loved his family and watching the kids grow. We celebrated Halloween and graduations. Perry was so active in our community always lending a hand, never afraid to roll up his sleeves or get dirty. He tackled any and all projects with no fear. He loved the outdoors and people. He truly cared and his actions supported that. He did his best to help everyone and to help others enjoy life. I'm going to miss him so much. His smile, his laugh, his love for life! See you in heaven my dear friend. Chris Hennessy, April 29, 2022 Words cannot express our sorrow. We are truly grateful for the years we spent with Perry. He was a wonderful part of our children's growing up years and we loved all our time with him; even when the "Faust kids" were not behaving. Those memories are cherished and we will find joy in them always. God's love and comfort be with all Perry's family and friends. He will be missed so, but will live in our hearts. Ken and Penni Bessenbacher, April 28, 2022 Brother you will be truly missed. You were a great person with nothing but happiness and greatness in your future. Your life had been rough, but it took a 180 for nothing but the best. I was looking forward towards you coming out to Whiskey Flats and spending some time on the boat. This year was suppose to be the year we grew our friendship and painted the world. My condolences to your kids and family. You always talked about your kids, and how much they meant to you. It will be hard not having the light of thier life around, but keep shining from up above and protect them as the guardian angel you are. This is way too soon bro.
