IN LOVING MEMORY

Perry Alan Kolarek

Feb 29 1972 - Apr 21 2022

Perry Alan Kolarek, age 50, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away April 21, 2022.  Perry was born February 29, 1972, in Los Angeles, California, to Barbara (Hitt) Kolarek-Brandt.  He was a man of many talents – and there was nothing he couldn’t turn his hand to!  He was a self-described tinkerer and just loved to roll up his sleeves and dig in – especially restoring his 1966 Dodge Coronet.  He loved to do anything outdoors – camping, boating, jet skiing, mountain biking and riding his Harley.  He was the fastest man alive, ‘The Flash’ as he would say.  He never sat still and could be found doing any one of his favorite activities on any given day.

Perry loved his family and friends and always found time to make that call or stop in for a visit.  If you needed it, he would give you the shirt off his back.  He was genuine, loyal and generous with his time.  For him, it was all about the little things, the memories.  He adored his two children, Hallee and Cameron.  He was so proud of everything they had accomplished.  He loved telling stories about his ‘Popsicle’ and ‘Camshaft’ being on the lake and their first snow. He loved dogs, especially Ares, Sophie, Lexie, Maximus, and Takota.

He is survived by his daughter, Hallee Anne Kolarek; son, Cameron James Kolarek; mother, Barbara Kolarek-Brandt; father, Steve Brandt & his fianceé, Regina Van Burkleo & her daughter, Isabella; sisters, Tara Kolarek and her spouse, Esther Rodriguez, and Dardi Goldberg and her spouse, Dan; brothers, Andrew Kolarek and his spouse, Denise, and twin brother, Kelly Kolarek and his spouse, Angela; nephews, Tyler Stewart, Kyle Stewart, Zachary Kolarek, and Mason Kolarek; nieces, Zoe Stewart, Emily Romero (Ruben), Kayla Goldberg, and Shelby Hernandez (Nelson); grand-niece, Historia Romero; grand-nephew, Jesse Hernandez; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75033. The service will be livestreamed at the following link; https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/perry-alan-kolarek. The recorded version will be available for viewing at the same link after the service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Toys for Tots since Perry loved to participate in the annual Harley ride. https://aubrey-tx.toysfortots.org/local-coordinator-sites/lco-sites/default.aspx?nPageID=100&nPreviewInd=200&nRedirectInd=3
