IN LOVING MEMORY

Peggy Jean Hubert

Nov 29 1940 - Mar 19 2020

Peggy Jean Barnett Hubert of McKinney, Texas, went to be with her Lord on March 19, 2020, at the age of 79.  She was born on November 29, 1940, to Olen Barnett and Evelyn (Bell) Barnett in Ennis, Texas.  After graduating from Wilmer-Hutchins High School, she went to Dallas Baylor Hospital School of X-Ray Technology where she met the love of her life, J.C. Hubert.  She married Joe Carl “J.C” Hubert on December 25, 1960, in Hutchins, Texas.  Peggy worked in the medical industry for over 50 years. She was a devoted member of Community North Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas, where she taught Sunday School for 40 plus years.

Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, J.C. Hubert. They were blessed by son, Jeff Hubert and wife, Laurie; daughter, Janice Hubert; and precious granddaughter, Mckenna Hubert, all of McKinney, Texas; sister, Glenda Dillard Of Mabank, Texas; brother, Barry Barnett of Duncanville, Texas. Peggy is also survived by extended family, Gay and Wilson White, Paul and Cheri Hubert, and James Hubert; and, several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends, such as the Hope Sunday School Class.

Peggy loved her Lord and leaned on her favorite verses:

John 3:16 was a verse she said that she had claimed since she was 9 years old: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Peggy’s other favorite verses are:

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing…….Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die….”

Peggy's family and loved ones rest upon the promises of God that Peggy is now with her Lord in Heaven and singing praises to God for an eternity.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
