Peggy Cobler Heist, age 89, of Prosper, Texas, passed away September 15, 2022. Peggy was born February 18, 1933, in Dallas, Texas, to H. W. and Elizabeth Ann (Dobie) Perry. She married Donald Paul Heist on May 1, 1976, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Peggy attended Draughan Business School in Dallas.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Heist of Prosper, Texas; children, Connie Holland and husband, Sam of Richardson, Texas, Jay Dee Heist of Prosper, Texas, and Donald Paul Heist, Jr. of California; grandchildren, Samantha Martinez and husband, Carlos of Parker, Texas and Elizabeth Cannedy and husband, Randy of Melbourne, Florida; great-grandchildren, Maya Martinez, Lana Martinez, Max Martinez, Leo Martinez, and Sydney Cannedy; nephew, Richard Heist and wife, Susan of Tennessee; cousin, Sammie Carey of Prosper, Texas, and sister-in-law, Emma Perry of Denton, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, H. W. and Elizabeth Perry and brother, Jimmy Perry.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 109 S. Oklahoma St., Celina, Texas, 75009.
