Peggy Ann Partridge was born on November 8, 1939 in Fannin County, Texas to Murl Wilkinson and Bessie Mae Whitworth Wilkinson. She married Billy Wayne Partridge on September 2, 1966 at Bonham, Texas. She passed away on May 4, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas at the age of 78 years.

Peggy was a graduate of Whitewright High School. Immediately after graduating she went to work as a teller at First National Bank in Whitewright. She worked her way through the bank until she became President of the bank. She recently retired from the Independent Bank of Whitewright after 60 years of service.

Peggy was active in her community. She served at the Whitewright Chamber of Commerce for many years. She was the President of the Oak Hill Cemetery Association. She was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church in Whitewright.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Wayne Partridge of Whitewright; brother, Jimmy Wilkinson and wife Martha of Whitewright; 2 nieces and 1 nephew; 2 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Monday, May 7, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will by Rev. Doyle Henderson, Rev. Allen Snider and Brother Derrell Hall. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas. Pallbearers will be Bobby Johnson, Paul Wetzel, Bruce Wetzel, Chad Wetzel, Derrell Hall and Sammy Harvey.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 3-5PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas.
