Paula Rae Sens

Paula Rae Shelton Sens passed away peacefully at her home in Plano, Texas on August 3, 2004 with her family at her side. Paula was born in Eunice, New Mexico on April 17, 1948 to Duane and Helen Shelton. She worked at Advanced Components and led the successful organization as its Executive Officer for 32 years. Paula was known by many manufacturers and distributors across the country. She served as President of the Southwestern Fastner Association with great pride. During her business career, Paula became a customer, a supplier, but mostly a friend. Paula was an avid sports fan and loved her Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. She was a true-blue Texan and a devoted friend. Paula is survived by her son, Phillip Sens of Plano; mother, Helen Shelton Grover; sister, Sherry Quiring and husband Bob; brothers, Scott and wife Kim, and Bryan and wife Sherrie Shelton all of Oklahoma City; and a niece and several nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Duane Shelton; and stepfather, Stanley Grover. Family members will receive visitors at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in McKinney on Thursday, August 5, 2004 from 7-8:30 PM. A Celebration of her life will be at Parkway Hills Baptist Church in Plano on Friday, August 6, 2004 at 10:30 AM. Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to Mercy Hospice, 417 Oak Bend, Lewisville, Texas 75067.
