Paul Robert Rothardt, 62, passed away April 14, 2026, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on October 6, 1963, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, to his loving parents Robert William Rothardt and Jeanne Rothardt.
Paul spent his early years in New Jersey before moving to California, where he would meet the love of his life, Rhonda, while attending high school. Their young love grew into a lifelong relationship, and Paul and Rhonda were married on June 21, 1986, in Vista, California.
Together, they built a life centered around family and love, raising four children. He was a proud and devoted father to his sons Stephen and Nathaniel, and daughters Erin and Alyssa. In his later years nothing brought him greater joy than being a grandfather. His grandsons were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with Myles and Jaxon.
Paul had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, where he found peace and happiness.
He will be remembered for his love of family and the many memories he created with those closest to him.
Paul is survived by his wife, Rhonda Rothardt, of McKinney, Texas; children, Stephen Rothardt, Nathaniel Rothardt, Erin Bateman and Alyssa Rothardt; son-in-law, Logan Bateman; daughter-in-law, Devon Laube; grandsons, Myles Logan Bateman and Jaxon Paul Rothardt; sister, Christina Rothardt; nephews, Darryn Lewis, Brandyn Lewis, Ryne Lewis, and Nicholas Harvey; niece, Amy Harvey; and a host of family members and friends, who will miss him dearly and fondly and forever cherish his memory.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Jeanie Rothardt.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
