Patsy Udorah Pennell Cain was born July 10, 1931 in Sherman, Texas to Marion Pennell and Lorena Phoebus Pennell. She passed away at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas, on April 19, 2020 at the age of 88.

Patsy as a young woman went to Dallas, Texas and began a long career spanning about 38 years with Southwestern Bell Telephone, which later became AT&T. She married Cecil Elmer Cain on September 27, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. Together they raised three sons and one daughter. She was a long time member of Telephone Pioneers of America and a lifelong member of the Baptist faith.

Patsy is survived by her sons, Larry Glenn Cain of Tom Bean, Ricky Derrell Cain of Mesquite and Mark Randle Cain of Dallas; daughter, Debra Marlene Cain of Dallas; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Dobbs. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Wilbur Marion “Will” Pennell and George William Teague.

Graveside Services will be held 11AM Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Vittitoe Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas. Brother Ronnie Pennell will officiate.
