I so fondly remember visiting Pat and Larry on Waddill and later in Howe. Larry was either planning a fishing trip or in his workshop making one of his many crafts for Pat to use her expertise to decorate. They were a lovely couple, full of love and laughter. and Pat always had a positive outlook even as her health deteriorated. She loved those grand girls and her devoted son Brad. The Angels dropped by to pick up another sweet Angel to join those that have gone before her. She will be missed. Diane Dillard, June 1, 2019 I know Pat is now with my dear brother, Larry in their heavenly home. I have always loved her and was so happy to help her plan her wedding to Larry on one our trips home many years ago. Rest in peace. Bess Lindsey, June 1, 2019 Brad, I am so saddened to learn that your mom passed away. To so many of us "guys" she was our "second mom". Always welcoming us to the house, providing food, Dr. Pepper's, or whatever she thought we needed. I hope that you and your girls can find solace, as I have, in knowing that she is in a better place, with your dad, Ben, Gussie, and other family and friends that have gone before her. So sorry that I cannot be there with you to celebrate her life. My deepest condolences, Your friend, John Lynn John Lynn, June 1, 2019 Sorry to the family of Pat for their loss! When a family member dies, we may feel helpless. The Bible gives us real comfort at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4, our creator is referred to as “the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort...” He will bring the dead back to life, he has promised it and Jesus showed that power by the many miracles he preformed! Mel Ford, May 30, 2019 Stephanie and family, we are so sorry for the loss of your sister. May God provide you with the strength to go forward. Prayers.
Jeri & Doug Rorie, May 30, 2019 Pat is one of the greatest ladies I ever met. She taaught me the furniture business when no one else would help me. I adopted her as my Mom, she treated me like a son. I'll miss her forever!
Garry Dillard, May 29, 2019 My mother shopped at Johnson's and Howell's and would only let Pat help her. Mom loved her. I'll never forget the time mom bought a couch from Howell's from Pat. For some reason the delivery truck couldn't deliver for several days. Pat wouldn't have it, she got her husbands pickup and delivered it all the way to Celina herself! She was one in a million! My deepest sympathy to her family. Kemp Willard, May 29, 2019 Brad, I am so saddened to hear about your mom. I wish there was something significant and magical I could say that would erase your grief. I am reminded once again of how short life is - and that we must be quick to love, and make haste to be kind to others - as we never know how much time any of us have left. You are loved, my friend -I am wishing you peace and healing. Much love,
Wendy Callan, May 29, 2019 Miss Pat was such a wonderful lady, she will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Brad, Emily and Kendall. I am so very sorry for your loss. Katie Andries, May 29, 2019
