Johnny, our sincere sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your Mother. She was a very special person, and someone we always admired. She and Joyce were great friends for many years. Lena and Early B. Milstead; Holly Milstead Lena Milstead, August 27, 2015 It makes me sad to know we have said our last goodbyes to another great mom and lady from the greatest generation. Great memories of our parents together with us growing up and all the fun times we shared in the riding club, at church or in each other's homes. Many a game of 42! She will be missed at our church, too, but her memory will last forever. God's strength and blessings to you and your family during this difficult time. Carol Goff Jones, August 7, 2015 Johnny Pat, I am so sorry about your mom. I've just learned of her passing today, (Thurs.). She was one of the sweetest ladies in the world. And your dad was one of the nicest men ever. I loved them both dearly. Please know I'm thinking of you. Hold on to your sweet wonderful memories of them. Nell Marie Hollis, July 30, 2015 Patsy taught me the joys of cooking for your family and others- at 12 years old I followed her around her kitchen remembering all her tips and hoping that my home as an adult could reflect that same warmness. She loved to have fun and her laugh could make your day, " let's just turn this car around and get another ice cream!" Her loving relationship with John Ray taught me so much of the joys of love and theirs was wonderful to be around- so much joy and love filled her life. And 3 days ago I used her tip on a 9 hour drive, "now Melinda, if you drape a towel around your arm facing the car window, you won't burn" I did and I said your name out loud. God Bless you Patsy- you were cherished by many. Melinda smith ellzey, July 28, 2015 Patsy was such a special person to us and we enjoyed our time spent with her.
