Patricia Katherine Edge

April 3, 1944 - November 24, 2021

Patricia Katherine “Queen Sassy Red Hat Pat” (Caldwell) Edge passed away at the age of 77 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on April 3, 1944 In Dallas, Texas, to parents, Roy Caldwell and Doreta (Ballew) Caldwell.     

Patricia married Leland Edge on August 16, 1963 in Farmersville, Texas. They had two children together, Kimberly and Kendall Edge.

She enjoyed shopping, going on cruises, traveling, being with family and friends, and red hatting. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Leland Edge of Nevada, Texas and daughter, Kim Edge Weishaupt and husband Bob Weishaupt Jr. of Caddo Mills, Texas and son, Kendall Edge and girlfriend Rebecca Biggs of Nevada, Texas. Her grandchildren, Allyson Rodgers and husband Collin of Wichita Falls, Texas, Chelsey Edge and fiancé Brandon Freeman of Nevada, Texas and Brandon Edge of Wylie, Texas and one great grandson, Landon Freeman son of Chelsey and Brandon Freeman.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents.

A Visitation will be held at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 5-7PM. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00AM. Burial will follow the service at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
