Patricia Annette (Cox) Francis of McKinney, Texas passed away on April 18, 2018 at the age of 63. She was born on April 13, 1955 to L. M. and Martha Jo (Bledsoe) Cox in Dallas, Texas. Patricia grew up in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas and graduated from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas. She married Charles D. Francis on August 26, 1978 in Dallas, Texas. Patricia’s RV was her “Happy Place.” She loved camping and boating while spending time with her closest friends, but the most important part of her life was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Charles D. Francis of McKinney, Texas; children, Dustin Francis of McKinney, Texas and Ashley Babbitt and husband, Brian of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Bree Ann Babbitt of McKinney, Texas; mother, Martha Jo Cox of Dallas, Texas; sister, Linda Holland and husband, Craig of Mansfield, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, L. M. Cox.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
Memorial contributions may be made to her beloved granddaughter, Bree Ann Babitt; In care of Prosperity Bank, 321 North Central Expressway Suite 100, McKinney, Texas. Funds will be used towards a scholarship fund for Bree Ann.
