Patricia “Pat” Louise Mock passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 1, 2021 at the age of 90.  She was born on January 22, 1931 to Wayne Smith and Claire Lentsch Smith in St. Paul, Minnesota.   Pat married William D. Mock on February 12, 1955.  She and William settled down in Richardson, Texas (Canyon Creek) in 1972 where they made lifelong friendships with all their neighbors.  Pat enjoyed playing Bridge and enjoyed the company of her neighbors when they had block parties or came to lounge by the pool.  It was a special place to live and make so many good memories.  When her children grew up and left the nest, she went to work for Foxworth-Galbraith as a receptionist.  Pat was a natural social butterfly and enjoyed her job.  When her loving husband passed away in 1994, Pat downsized and moved to Plano, Texas.  She met her dear neighbor and friend, Ann across the street and they spent the next 20 years traveling Coast to Coast, Alaska and overseas.  Pat and Ann would spend the summers at the lake/marina in Tawakoni riding around on the golf cart and socializing.

In 2016, Pat left Plano and moved to Willis, Texas where she lived on the family compound.  Pat loved to porch sit and read her paperbacks while looking over the property and always commenting that “it looked like a golf course”.  She found the weather down south was a lot more enjoyable than previous places she had lived.  We were blessed as a family to have her close the past five years and spend every day with her.  Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a dear friend who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Dunham and husband, Bobby of Willis, Texas; son, Gary Mock of Willis, Texas; grandson, Travis Goodson and wife, Lyndsey of Conroe, Texas; great-granddaughter, Cooper; brother, Steve Smith and wife, Yoli of Lake Havasu, Arizona.
