Patricia "Pat" Ann Barnett, of North Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024 at the age 82. She was born on September 7, 1941, in Hope, Arkansas, to Levi and Viola (Springs) Volentine. Pat's life was a testament to the power of love and faith.
Patricia found her true companion in the late Frank Barnett on June 22, 1985, in Richardson, Texas, they pledged their eternal love in a ceremony filled with joy and hope. Together, they embarked on a journey of love and devotion that spanned 32 beautiful years before Frank's passing in 2017. Their bond was a shining example of love's enduring strength, and their memories will forever be cherished by those whose lives they touched.
Professionally, Pat excelled as an executive recruiter and business owner for 30 years, showcasing her talent and dedication in every endeavor. Her commitment to excellence and her unwavering work ethic earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Pat's faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devoted member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, she found comfort, strength, and community with her church family. Her faith illuminated every aspect of her life, guiding her with unwavering grace and compassion.
Pat's greatest joy, however, was found in the loving embrace of her family. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she poured boundless love and affection into the lives of her loved ones. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and laughter, filled with cherished memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Crystal Westmoreland of Shreveport, Louisiana and Sheryl Martin and husband, Michial of Midlothian, Texas; stepdaughter, Becky Bender of Fairview, Texas; stepson, Chuck Barnett of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Tonya Holman, Jennifer Patterson, Sarah Mendeke, and Hannah McCain; sister, Jerlene Standridge of Spokane, Washington; eight great-grandchildren; numerous other loving family, and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Barnett; parents, Levi and Viola Volentine; two brothers; six sisters; stepdaughter, Linda Barnett.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093. Pat will be inurned at Dallas Fort-Worth National Cemetery with her late husband, Frank Barnett.
