Patricia Joyce Cristiano of Fairview, Texas passed away August 9, 2019 at the age of 75. She was born on March 6, 1944 to Richard Mansfield Schodlbauer and Josephine Pauline (Orsula) Schodlbauer in Chicago, Illinois where she grew up in the Chicagoland area. Patricia moved to Florida during her high school years and was a 1962 graduate of Fort Lauderdale High School. She started her working career at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, Illinois in 1974, then Patricia moved to the Department of Defense in Washington D.C. In 2004, she retired from her position as Senior Finance Manager. Patricia loved dancing, traveling, playing Bunko and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Debra Moczalla and husband, Michael of McKinney, Texas and Frank Peschek of Fairview, Texas; grandchild, Nathalie Moczalla of Krum, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Josephine Schodlbauer; grandson, Christopher Moczalla; brother, Jack Scholdbauer; and sister-in-law Judy Schodlbauer.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. A reception will follow the service. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
