Patricia Ann Carr of McKinney, Texas passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 74 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on June 17, 1949 to John McKeever and Cordelia (Bigonette) McKeever in Woodbury, New Jersey. Pat grew up in Washington Township, New Jersey and was a member of one of the first graduating classes of their high school. Following high school, she worked for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company where she met the love of her life, John Carr, Sr. They married on July 16, 1976 in Laurel Springs, New Jersey and to their union three sons, John Jr., Brian, and Michael were born. The family built their home in the Poconos, Pennsylvania where their boys were raised. After their sons had grown up, she and John, Sr. moved around the country, working with their son, Brian, bringing digital meters to the masses. Pat was known for her caring heart and always taking care of others. She was the first to ask who needed help and if she could lend a helping hand. Pat was her grandkids’ biggest fan at games whether she was in the stands or watching from home. She cherished the time she spent with her family, friends, and neighbors. Pat devoted her love and time to caring for her family and they knew she supported them fully with any endeavor. Pat was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas for the past five years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), sister, and friend. Pat will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
