Pat Johnson, age 86, of Celina, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021. She was born February 27, 1935, in McKinney, Texas, to Ellis Elizabeth (Herndon) and Lester Claude “Pete” Cashon. She was raised in Celina and graduated from Celina High School in 1953. Pat married Charles B. Johnson, on July 6, 1953, in Celina. She utilized her many talents as a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. Pat loved spending time with her family and enjoyed books, china painting and searching for the perfect antique. She was a dear friend to many, was greatly loved by her family, and will be missed by all those who knew her.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Debbie Johnson of Celina; her sons, Sam Johnson of Dallas, and Rick Johnson and his wife, Leslie, also of Dallas; her siblings, Jane Willard of Celina, Richard Cashon and his wife, Patti, of Celina, and Robert Cashon of Collinsville; her brother-in-law, Jimmy Johnson of Wichita Falls; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Johnson, her parents, and her sisters, Nancy Alexander and Dorothy Stambaugh.
A private funeral service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Celina, followed by interment at Cottage Hill Cemetery.
