Pamela Diane Stevenson of Garland, TX joined her Heavenly Father on March 2nd, 2023. She is survived by her parents Dale and Shirley Rector, her siblings Dusty Rector and Teresa Rector, her husband Kyle Stevenson, her daughter Taylor Stevenson, her son and daughter-in-law Blake and Misty Stevenson, and her granddaughter Violet Stevenson.
Pam was a lifelong learner with a passion for music. She was a member of the Lewisville High School show choir and later fronted her own band while attending OU in Norman, OK on a music scholarship. It was there that she met her husband Kyle. Together they moved to TN, where she started a software training business with clients like Warner Reprise Records and Sony Records. They also started their family there before moving to Texas. Pamela graduated from Texas A&M Commerce and was one semester away from completing her Masters Degree from UNT.
An entrepreneur at heart, Pamela started several of her own businesses and maintained a real estate brokerage license that she used to invest in, renovate and lease homes throughout DFW. During her career, she was a successful Program Director and Project Manager with EDS, Hewlett Packard and AIG. She was an active member of her local Baptist church. Once you were Pamela’s friend, you were always in her heart. Those who were lucky enough to know her would describe her as courageous, kind, giving, creative, passionate and sensitive.
The world was a lighter place with her in it.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
