Ollie Lewis Lee

January 2, 1943 - February 18, 2021

Ollie Lewis Lee of Sherman, Texas passed away on February 18, 2021 at the age of 78. He was born on January 2, 1943 to Ollie Lawrence Lee and Katie (Foley) Lee in Elm Mott, Texas. Ollie grew up and attended schools in Mexia, Texas. He drove a concrete truck, worked in a factory and held other various jobs throughout his life. Ollie married Helen Catherine Shelton on September 11, 1963 in McKinney, Texas. He enjoyed talking on a CB Radio and going to church but most of all he enjoyed taking care of his family. Ollie was a member of Redemption Fellowship church in Celina, Texas.

Ollie is survived by his wife, Helen Lee of Sherman, Texas; 5 daughters, Melinda Hunter and husband, Robin, Patricia Rector and husband, Terry, Catherine Kemp and husband, Chris, Michele Vass and husband, Randy, Katie Lee and husband, Seth Everett; 10 grandchildren, Andrew Candanoza, Kandace Jacobson, Ashely Hunter, Kayla Blackburn, Mika Blackburn, Michael Blackburn, Cody Lee, Emily Lee, Amber Vass and Harvey Everett; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jutson of Groesbeck, Texas and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Katie Lee.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, the following are Ridgeview Memorial Parks guidelines. All are invited to attend the graveside service, maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle.

Ollie will truly be missed! Very swell guy, friend and truly loved and cared for his family. I will miss seeing you in church. God bless the Lee family.
