Ola Marie Hill Livezey

Ola Marie Hill Livezey of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 87. She was born on March 3, 1933 to Ben A. and Hazel (Glasgow) Hill in Canadian, Texas.  Marie grew up on a ranch outside of Canadian, Texas until her family moved into town when she was 9 years old. She attended school in Canadian and enjoyed playing High School Basketball. Marie was a very independent woman who was not afraid to undertake any type of project. She was also a passionate artist and later in life enjoyed teaching art to others. Marie was a member of First Christian Church in McKinney Texas.

Marie is survived by her children, Mike Livezey and wife, Kathi of McKinney, Texas, Cindy Branum and husband, Mike of McKinney, Texas, and Sherlen Prince of Falcon Head, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Bryan Prince and wife, Misty, Kara York and husband, Cliff, Katie Livezey and husband, Jerry Buckholt; great grandchildren, Ford York, Brad Prince, and Brenna Moore; great great grandchild, Addie Jo Prince; sister, Lorene Brown of Canadian, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Hazel Hill; sisters, Radi Whitsell, and Una Beutler; brothers, Clinton Hill, Clayton Hill, Arnold Hill, and Dennis Hill; and former husband, Noble Livezey.

The family requests memorials be made to First Christian Church in McKinney, Texas or to a charity of choice.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of invited guests will be allowed to attend the Memorial Service.

The service will also be live streamed on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Marie’s obituary page.

However, those who would like to honor Marie and show their support to her family may come to the funeral home where ample parking is available. While you remain in your vehicle, you may watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
