Ofelia Diaz Stoff passed away August 9, 2023 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 70. She was born to Juan Rincon and Amparo (Lopez) Diaz on September 2, 1952 in Robstown, Texas.
Ofelia graduated from McKinney High School in 1973 and attended Grayson Community College. She married William Henry Stoff, Jr. on February 14, 1975.
During her career, Ofelia worked for Fisher Controls and McKinney ISD- Head Start. She also worked in private home health and at the Redbud House Assisted Living.
Ofelia is survived by her former husband, William Henry Stoff, Jr. of Sayre, Oklahoma; daughter, Cassandra Gonzales and husband, Carlos of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Jessica Stoff and husband, Miguel of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Chandra Dunning of Grand Rapids, Michigan; son, Eric Stoff, Sr. of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Carlos Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Ariel of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Eric Stoff, Jr. and wife, Rebekah of McKinney, Texas; grandson, William Gonzales of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Elizabeth Gamez and husband, Juan of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Tyler Clayton of Leonard, Texas; granddaughter, Kayla Cardwell of Midlothian, Texas; granddaughter, Cana Dunning of Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandson, Josiah Dunning of Grand Rapids, Michigan; granddaughter, Madison Dunning of Grand Rapids, Michigan; granddaughter, Lily Dunning of Grand Rapids, Michigan; great-grandchildren, Adan, Melanie, Ruben, Oliver, Penelope, Avery, and Cato; sister, Maria Luna of McKinney, Texas; sister, Oralia Garcia and husband, Ricardo of Princeton, Texas; sister, Olga Cisneros of Mercedes, Texas; brother, Domingo Diaz of McKinney, Texas; brother, Luis Diaz and wife, Maria of Houston, Texas; brother, Jesse Diaz of Houston, Texas; brother Arturo Diaz and wife, Olga of McKinney, Texas; brother, Robert Diaz and wife, Leticia of McKinney, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Amparo Diaz; granddaughter, Erica Jones; brother, Juan Diaz and wife, Lily; brother, Thomas Diaz and wife, Cindy; brother, Julio Diaz; sister, Felicia Gonzales and husband, Amador; brother-in-law, Alfredo Luna; and brother-in-law, Javier Cisneros.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, August 14, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
